Searching out new flavors and local foods is the fuel that feeds the culinary fire within Chef Krystyna Cibelli-Pettus. Chef Cibelli is a Private Chef and Culinary Educator. She has been cooking and teaching for the last 17 years and has continued to educate herself, gaining knowledge and experience as she her continues her culinary journey.
Chef Cibelli has been a Culinary Instructor for schools such as, Star Career Academy in NYC, as well as, various nonprofits including, Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP). Chef also taught recreational classes at various locations for Sur la Table, starting as a part time instructor and ending as the Resident Chef, overseeing the culinary program in the White Plains, NY location.
She was Executive Chef at Penelope in Murray Hill, where she brought new ideas and delicious creations to the iconic menu.
Chef Cibelli is also an experienced traveling Private Chef, having spent the last 14 summers in the Hamptons. During the year she ventures out across the world with her clients.
Learning something new everyday about cooking fuels her passion to teach and make people more comfortable and intuitive in the kitchen. Chef Cibelli is a certified SerVSafe Manager, holds a NYC Food Handlers License and loves to educate on proper sanitation. She graduated from the Art Institute of New York with a degree in Culinary Arts and also holds a New York State Culinary Career School teaching license.
